I knew our mom was allergic to cats, however I never realized how terrible the flu symptom was until she came to visit last month. I purchased our first apartment last year and I finally finished with all of the remodeling. I converted the family room into a den and a read and I turned the spare family rooms into 1 huge gaming room with a billiards table, foosball, ping pong, and a dart board. I got rid of the wall in the lavatory and I turned that room into 1 huge spa with radiant heated floors and a garden tub. I was so proud of the swings that I invited our mom to come stay for a month after I was done, but she was happy to fly across the country to come see me! My animal Champion and I met our mom at the airport, but all of us drove 45 hours back to our site. My mom sneezed a couple of times on the way home, however I did not believe for a hour that she was allergic to Champion until later that night when her eyes were puffy and red. My mom was having a hard time breathing and she had a headache. I had to go to town to buy an air cleaner for the spare family room before our mom found any relief. I blocked the air cleaner into the room where mom was sleeping and the two of us left the door closed all day and all night, then the next time our mom comes to visit, I believe I will need to send Champion to the boarder. I know our mom finally got some rest, however I wish she would have been more comfortable during the visit.
