I knew my Dad was allergic to cats, but I never realized how exhausting the allergy was until she came to visit last week, but i purchased my first home last year & I finally finished with all of the remodeling.
I converted the home office into a den & a learn & I turned the spare study rooms into one large gaming room with a pool table, foosball, ping pong, & a dart board.
I got rid of the wall in the washroom & I turned that room into one large spa with radiant floors & a garden tub. I was so proud of the swings that I invited my Dad to come stay for a month after I was done, however she was glad to fly across the country to come see me… My animal Champion & I met my Dad at the airport. All of us drove 45 hours back to my place. My Dad sneezed a couple of times on the way home, but I did not think for a hour that she was allergic to Champion until later that evening when her eyeah were puffy & red. My Dad was having a strenuous time breathing & she had a headache. I had to go to village to buy an air cleaner for the spare study room before my Dad found any relief. I blocked the air cleaner into the room where Dad was sleeping & the two of us left the door closed all day & all evening, but the next time my Dad comes to visit, I think I will need to send Champion to the boarder. I guess my Dad finally got some rest, but I wish she would have been more comfortable while in the visit.
