In our local area, the weather is a year-round challenge; The outside temperature starts cooling down by the end of September & it’s necessary to run the oil furnace at evening, then by the middle of September, the people I was with and I rely on the heating system 24/7, & there’s usually several inches of snow on the ground at Halloween, then every year, the people I was with and I face rapidly decreasing temperatures down to twenty below zero, an accumulation of fifteen feet of snow & vicious wind chill.
The two of us experience cold rain, blizzard conditions & something called thunder snow.
After eight months of being trapped in the apartment & running the oil furnace, the people I was with and I look forward to some milder weather, then i’m typically eager to open the windows & welcome in some fresh air, then my whole family can’t wait to get outside & soak up some sunshine, but unfortunately, the temperature & humidity climb steadily until the conditions are unbearable, however within 4 to numerous weeks, the weather is so hot & sticky that the people I was with and I need to shut all the windows & start up the air conditioner. There’s no way to relax, be productive or get a fine evening’s sleep without blasting the cooling system at maximum capacity. I switch from paying outrageous natural gas bills to super high electric bills. I’ve done everything possible to tighten up the apartment & prevent energy waste. The lack of natural ventilation can create a stuffy feeling & problems with indoor air conditions. I’ve needed to invest in a ventilator to bring in fresh air when the weather is a challenge. The ventilator updates the stale air with clean air without energy losses. It genuinely combats excess humidity in the Summer & preheats the incoming air in the Winter time to reduce demands on the air conditioner & oil furnace. It saves me currency on the utility bills & significantly improves the comfort & health of the home.
