Our household gets so into this time of year.
It vibrates through the whole house.
Once the holiday season kicks off, our house just gets really, really into it. I haven’t really considered myself to be super into Christmas and the holiday season much of my life. That sure changed when I got married. And then having kids took it to an entirely new level. Now, I honestly have to say that I am really into all of it. Typically, I tend to be a guy who keeps it simple. I go to work, come home and enjoy the HVAC comfort of my home and enjoy my family. Then, it’s pretty much shampoo, rinse, repeat through most of the year. I think that is one of the reasons I really have gotten into the holiday period. The fact that I get to watch my family enjoy this time of year is where it’s at for me. Plus, I love that my wife gets into it all as well. She is the one who really turned it around for me when it comes to Christmas. When we got married, that first Christmas she got me off my but in the HVAC and into decorating and other fun stuff. Her big thing has always been the holiday candles. My wife has so many fragrant and lovely candles lit throughout the house. This fact is something that I do have to counter in a realistic way. All of that burnt candle wax ends up getting sucked straight to the HVAC return. This means that the HVAC air filter has to be changed nearly every week!
