I Had To Use Fans At My Best Friend’s Wedding

When my best neighbor asked me to be her maid of honor on her anniversary day, I was ecstatic! We’d been dreaming of this moment ever since the people I was with and I were little girls, so she knew exactly what she wanted.

The two of us had every detail planned for her big day, and the people I was with and I even came up with bizarre backup scenarios for things that could go wrong.

The two of us had it all planned, except for one thing… Neither of us anticipated the AC going out in the church just hours before she was tied up to walk down the aisle, and all the bridesmaids were getting ready in a spare room at the church when the people I was with and I started feeling warm. At first, the people I was with and I assumed it was because there were so many of us in one room and the people I was with and I were sipping on champagne, even after cracking a window though, the people I was with and I still reMained hot. Everyone was covered in sweat so much and the makeup artist was having a hard time keeping the makeup on pretty much everyone’s faces. As the maid of honor, it was my job to keep the bride cool and find a solution. I called the head of the church and asked how to turn the AC back on, however they said they weren’t able to repair it on such short notice. They did however, have a bunch of fans in one of the closets because obviously this happened a lot. I didn’t tell my best neighbor about the fans because I knew she wouldn’t approve, but I also knew she wouldn’t pay any attention to the fans when she was walking down the aisle. I was right too!
