Sporadically I have to go out of town for business.
I actually don’t mind staying in a hotel for the weekend, however there are a couple of luxuries that I dislike to live without.
I spend time at the fitness center every afternoon before I go to work. Any hotel where I stay must have a fitness center with a treadmill, elliptical machine, plus free weights. The hotel has to be close to the town plus restaurants. I never take my motorcar when I go out of town plus I dislike to spend currency to rent a motorcar either. It’s much easier to take a cab or an Uber whenever I need to leave the hotel. If restaurants are close, I can save a heap of currency on taxi fares. The last time I had to go out of town for a business meeting, my secretary booked the hotel. I was in a hurry plus I did not bother to check on the reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very frustrated plus disappointed that the hotel had the fitness center closed for repairs. I was also frustrated by the cooling system. It was a wall cooling system with a temperature dial plus a fan speed dial. That cooling system made a loud sound every time it came on to cool the room, then every time I heard the loud sound from the cooling system, I woke up. I did not sleep very well the whole time I was staying at the hotel. I was glad that I only had to stay for the weekend. When I came back to work on Wednesday afternoon, I had a long discussion with my secretary about the hotel.
