After doing some renovations around our home and making everything look good, we had the challenge of working on our unfinished basement.
I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to do about heating and cooling down there.
So I ended up calling the HVAC company to see what our options were. The HVAC technician said that we could easily install a ductless mini split and that would cover our heating and cooling with ease. So I decided to go for that HVAC installation. After that, I worked on cleaning up the basement and finishing it. I put down tiles after everything was cleaned and then I worked on the walls and the ceilings. It took quite a bit of work, but I was so happy when I had everything looking great and the HVAC system had the basement feeling perfectly comfortable. I’m happy now because now we can utilize all the space in our house and we have so much room with our newly finished basement. I can even entertain guests in the basement and we should be able to have a great time. I’m actually thinking about hooking up a projector in the basement so we can have a nice little indoor movie theater. That’s always been a dream of mine to have something like that and now everything is set up perfect for that. With the ductless mini split, I can crank up the air conditioning down there just like a real movie theater without affecting the rest of the household. That’s something I look forward to.
