I grew up in a family where money was definitely a problem.
We did not have an excessive amount of financial resources in our lives.
As such, we all learned how to get by with innovation and quick thinking. I have never been a stranger to a thrift store. I will never purchase anything at full retail value. I even refused to pay full price for any of my food or drinks. After you have lived a life scrounging for nickels and dimes, it’s hard to imagine any other way. This is why I am currently holding off on my central heating, cooling, and air quality control repair appointment. I know that my central HVAC system needs to be rapidly replaced, but I am not ready to fork out all the money for a full air conditioner and furnace reboot. When I called my local heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop for help with my central heating and cooling units, I had no idea that they were going to give me the worst news. My entire HVAC system needed to be replaced. I was more than happy to talk to the HVAC professional about my desire for even, high quality indoor air… Until they mentioned the price tag for new heating and cooling equipment. Apparently, it’s going to cost me an arm and a leg to purchase a brand new air conditioning unit and forced air furnace. Then, throw in the heating and cooling installation. This is why I am biding my time, waiting for a discounted heating, cooling, and air quality control system to pop up in my life. If I keep checking the thrift stores and online marketplaces, I bet you I can find a cheaper price on my HVAC.
