When I was just a child, my parents took me to a local immense box store where the group of us purchased a small aquarium kit.
From that time moving forward, I was basically in love.
I consistently had fish tanks in our dining room throughout my childhood and adolescence. I even decided to begin working at a pet store so I could learn more about the interest and work on my fishkeeping technique. Little did I know, this would transform into a massive obsession more than a regular interest! This week, I have over 20 fish tanks in our residence. I entirely enjoyed my little fish buddies… but my indoor air temperature control does not. It turns out, when you have a room full of warm, open water it really messes with your air quality. Because all of our fish tanks are heated, the water evaporates rather fast off the top. Regrettably, this water enters our indoor air and easily changes the indoor humidity a great deal. With higher indoor air moisture, you basically wind up with a whole host of issues. I have mold and mildew growing around our ceiling and throughout our central heating and cooling machine. My indoor air temperature is never well regulated because the relative humidity actually skews the feeling of the air temperature. My central heating, cooling, and air quality control machine actually cannot manage the relatively moderate air in our aquarium room versus the cooler air throughout the rest of the residence. Overall, I have transformed our residence into a tepid and muggy mildew mess. I think that I need more advanced indoor air temperature controls to manage my extremely advanced interest in fish keeping.
