When I tell people that I genuinely enjoy lizards, they supply me a different look, however most folks are not as interested in scaly, cold blooded animals as I am; I can admit, not everybody is a large fan of prehistoric animals living in their house, and however, I fell in love with lizards back when I was about more than seven years old, however ever since, I have constantly kept massive terrariums for our scaly friends.
I genuinely enjoy having these diverse, flexible animals all around me; That’s why I have constantly dreamt of creating a full-blown indoor desert for our number one reptile friends; Rather than containing our buddies in glass cages, I would prefer to devote an entire kitchen to their natural environment.
This is why I have been investing in heating, cooling, & air quality control machine for the past 6 months. I realized right off the bat that I was going to need a hot, dry environment for our friends, but obviously, when you are recreating a desert you do not want an a/c or humidification machine messing with their number one temperature. This is why I have been upgrading our central heating & cooling system to include zone controlled HVAC services. I need to be able to funnel sizzling & dry air directly from the furnace into our current lizard room. I also need an intense dehumidification system to keep the indoor humidity below 25%. I have been working with a dedicated heating, cooling, & ventilation specialist to get all of our indoor air quality control measures in order for quite a while now. I guess that our HVAC business thinks I am really insane, but our desert terrarium is going to blow him away when it’s finished. I just hope this HVAC upgrade doesn’t blow our savings account into smithereens.
