I guess a lot of people assume that reptiles and amphibians are gross although I appreciate them.
I haven’t constantly enjoyed them. I never hated them. I just saw them as part of nature. Then I rescued a pacman frog from our nephew. He was neglecting the disappointing creature and I just had to step in. I have owned the frog for over 3 years now and she is glad and healthy and I appreciate her. This opened the door to reptile shows and forums. So I decided I wanted a bearded dragon too. A coworker heard I wanted a bearded dragon and he gave me a single, with a complete set up, that his son wasn’t taking care of. So the two of us moved the frog tank over a bit to make room for the bearded dragon. The problem is that now the frog tank is getting blasted by the air conditioning system vent. This is undoubtedly drying and it makes the frog cold, and our house is undoubtedly small so there easily is no other way the two of us can arrange the bearded dragon and frog tanks. There is also only a single air conditioning system vent in the home office so I don’t want to close off the vent. I need to find a way to keep the frog warm, keep the humidity up in the frog tank, and keep the home office air conditioned; Getting rid of the frog or the bearded dragon are not options. I’m seriously thinking of getting some plastic ductwork, taping it to the vent, and rerouting the air conditioning system vent. It would look terrible however at least I could keep all the people comfortable.
