I’m trying to make-do with the ancient appliances in my apartment, however it isn’t self-explanatory.
I have a clothes dryer that takes numerous hours to dry a load of laundry.
My oven is 50 degrees off, meaning you have to put the temperature dial at 400 if you want the oven to be 350 degrees inside. Surprisingly the ancient microwave seems to toil well enough, however the light inside went out a few weeks ago. I’m sure that’s an self-explanatory & cheap fix, however some of the other appliances look truly dismal. Aside from the kitchen, powder room, family room, laundry room, & living room appliances, there is 1 other section of concern that needs immediate attention. The ancient heating & cooling program needs to be replaced. It’s a proper split-style air conditioner with an electric heating program inside. The air handler is inside a closet near the master living room & it is extremely loud while it runs. It doesn’t bother us during sun hours because there is usually other noise that drowns it out. We could be seeing television, talking to 1 another, or hearing the neighbor’s pets bark. All of these factors properly cancel out any noise from the heating & cooling system. But whenever we’re trying to sleep, the loud air conditioner can cause havoc. Even if the two of us manage to fall asleep abruptly, the two of us both wake up at least once or twice each night hearing the air conditioner cycle. I’m getting quotes from local heating & cooling companys before my fiance & I decide on what air conditioner will toil for our space the best.
