My kid is the only female Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman that I know, when she first started talking about becoming an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman, I kind of just laughed about it. I thought that she was just kidding at first because she’s constantly said that she would go to school to be an interior designer. She even had a couple of unusual classes that she took online already to go in that direction, then she study this article about the job market for Heating, Ventilation, & A/C servicemans & how there just aren’t a lot of women in the field, & that’s what changed her mind. She said that she thought that she would love to be a lady Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman in a field that’s dominated by men. She signed up for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C certification classes at our local technical school here in town, & the rest is history. She did easily wonderful in her classwork & in her internship & now she has a job at 1 of the greatest heating & cooling corporations in this part of the state. She says that it’s funny sometimes to go to work because the only other women who work there are in the office setting schedules & making appointments. She’s the only 1 out there driving around in an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C service truck & fixing furnaces & central air conditioner units all morning. I would have to say that I’m proud of the fact that she didn’t let the male dominated industry frighten her. I suppose she’s easily going to do well in this job option that she’s made.
