Me & my partner have this genuinely neat little lodge we own out in the nature area of the region! It is way off in the backwoods you could say, but this little lodge is a genuinely homestyle & old school genre getaway.
- The only setback we sort of have periodically is if it is freezing when we decide to take our mini getaway.
We actually have a pretty wonderful answer & solution to that setback though! We have a genuinely wonderful fireplace that is a part of it. The fireplace keeps us nice & toasty during those chilly winter season days. Then of course we have fur rugs which helps retain the warmth of the fireplace. The negative thing about this is that it is a real fireplace & not one of those electric fireplaces, so I have to go out regularly & split plenty of wood ahead of time to get the fire going. This can be a tremendous headache, especially if I am genuinely exhausted or cold. But it is something that really must be done. So I always make sure & split a good amount of firewood for the fireplace when I first arrive with my partner at the lodge. We have had this lodge for roughly 10 years now & it is genuinely appealing. The fireplace genuinely adds ambience to it, however I have to say that we have been considering investing in an electric fireplace so I don’t have to split wood just to get the fire going on a regular basis… An electric fireplace would be wonderful.
