I really like heat pumps

A southern Summer can simply disinfect you out if you aren’t proper with how to deal with them. With that being said, the upside of that is a trade off worth making. During the 4 months of summer, the heat is brutal. However, once it’s over, the next 8 months are nearly as perfect as weather can get. Having lived where the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C oil furnace operated for more than 6 months out of the year, I will make that trade everyday. I also certainly care about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heat pump having to deal with an oil furnace or any other style of heating system. I recognize that the heat pump will more than do when it comes to taking care of the chill during the middle of our winter. Granted, those temperatures rarely get below chilly. But even then, the heat pump makes our cabin super cozy. It just blows our mind how it does this. You see, all the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heat pump works differently in the Wintertide and changes direction. By that I mean when the temperature control is switched to heating, the heat pump simply reverses the refrigerant flow. Really, that’s all that happens. The heat pump helps cool the beach house by removing heat energy from the home and bad it outside. So when it’s time for heat, it reverses flow and grabs all heat energy from the outside air and brings it inside. It doesn’t need any other help until the temps dip to 40 or lower. When that happens, there is an electric grid which produces extra warming to supplement the heat energy the heat pump grabs from outdoors. It certainly is a wonder.
