I am a vegetarian that loves all living creatures.
I won’t even kill a spider in my house if I can get away with it.
If an animal can be saved and left to live, I will let him go. I recently had a giant hive of bees in my orange trees around my property. I wanted to let the bees stay there and continue to build their nests. Unfortunately the bees got to be so vast that I was worried about getting stung. I had to call a bee company for help. I found online that there are bee rescue companies, but not all of them strive to do bee relocation. It is like reading the fine print on a contract. A bee company might say they do a live bee rescue, that means when they vacuum up the bees, they are safe in the container. They might even be safe as the truck rounds the corner. What happens after that company leaves my home? Not every bee business strives to relocate the bees to a safe home. I finally found a company that does a live bee rescue and also provides relocation services. The company places them in a hive box and puts them in an area that they are safe. Typically the bees are sent to a honeykeeper. This is a person who allows the bees to nest in the hive box and extracts the honey and sells it. The bees get to live, produce their honey and be in an area they are wanted. I was so glad that there was a company that cared more about the bees.
