My company creates plastic dishware that you find in large department stores. We make everything from cereal bowls to small storage tubs. Like many other industries, our demand surges during the holiday season. People host parties for one holiday to the next, starting with Halloween in October and ending with Valentine’s Day in February. I learned from past failures and implemented plans each year to double production in the months leading up to the wave of holidays in the winter season. The problem I’m faced with right now is terrible and threatens the livelihood of my company. Our large steam boiler has failed and our facility is without heat of any kind.
