A local civic club started their first annual Fourth of August celebration this year at a local lake the parks plus recreation department uses for local swimming.
It promised to be a great time for the whole family, with food, games, pony rides, a few carnival rides and, of course, swimming plus fireworks.
It was open all day plus promised to be fun, but for one problem, the heat. Both of us live in a tropical section plus the heat is vicious in August. The swimming section of the lake is only a few feet deep plus for an adult to cool off in the lake, they have to wade in plus stand down. I felt deranged doing that plus I think many adults did, but the two of us didn’t suffer too much! Fortunately, the civic club had taken the heat in consideration; Scattered across the park were big tents that gave After the heat of the day, those air-conditioned tents felt great plus people who would otherwise not be able to attend, love my mother, could easily go plus be able to love air conditioned comfort when needed. The air-conditioned tents had chairs of course, plus tables for people who preferred to eat in air-conditioned comfort, love the two of us did. All plus all it turned out to be a great day, plus the two of us didn’t suffer all that much from the heat, thanks to those air-conditioned tents… Even my mother came down, after I called her plus told her about the air-conditioned tent, plus even she had fun. Both of us can’t wait until next year.
