I am here with a word of advice for anybody who is contemplating the idea moving in with their significant other.
Namely, do not do it if you like how your relationship is now.
Honestly, I highly suggest that you continue down that path. Everything absolutely changes the very moment that you move in with somebody and have to start seeing each other every second of the afternoon. There is so much more pressure on your relationship and you have to constantly cooperate in ways you never imagined. At a minimum, always make sure that you and your partner are on the same page when it comes to dealing with daily utility expenses and bills. I acquired this the hard way with our last romance who evidently had no sense of financial responsibility or idea how daily bills worked in the real world. He seemed to be under the impression that energy was a free utility provided for free to everybody on Earth. He didn’t see the problem with going and running our a/c idea at full blast here and there before shutting it down and flinging open the windows. He wasn’t aware of the wear and tear that he constantly put on our heating and cooling idea by decreasing the thermostat settings a dozen times an afternoon. He never had to worry about these basic lake home expenses, Heating, Ventilation as well as central A/C repair procedures, or utility costs when he was living with his parents in the past. It was always somebody else’s work to take care of the daily bills and appliance upkeep. With that knowledge, our relationship fell apart rather rapidly. Make sure you believe your partner’s modern Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C aptitudes are in place before you take big steps.
