I’ll be on my own, with lower HVAC expenses

Earlier this week I was examining our detailed student account at our brand up-to-date educational institution.

I finally decided to take a look at the quoted costs of their programs and was rather shocked when I checked it to see all of the numbers that they laid out.

Apparently, they overquoted the huge amount of money that it’s going to cost to attend any given program. For me, the most shocking section of their estimation was the residential fees for just living in their dorms. When I dug further into those living costs, I eventually realized that a big portion of it was devoted to the heating, cooling, and ventilation idea that they regularly utilized in their dorm buildings. Apparently, they must be using some harshly high tech and high energy commercial Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C devices to effectively keep their students comfortable… Or else they have the lowest quality Heating and Cooling appliances and spend a ton of money stupidly trying to keep them limping along with professional repair services. The quoted Heating & Cooling costs actually were nearly half of the residential fees. The anticipated energy usage fees, alone, were higher than our regular rent. I have to sit and wonder if this Heating and Cooling cost estimation was based on reality or perhaps it’s just another way to gorge students for their money. If they absolutely have these monumental expenses due to basic indoor air conditions control in a janky hotel, it would behoove them to invest in better Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C components or potential develop a heating and cooling certification program right at the school. No matter what, I can happily control our own Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C costs from home.
