I was excited to get my new she-shed. He has had a mancave for years and it was time for me to have my own space. This was a necessity because even though our lot was large, our house was small and it was nice to have our own space. I had big dreams for my she-shed. My stationary bike will go in it, and of course I will need some tunes.I would get some cable TV out there, perhaps. And air conditioning was a must. When the portable building arrived, I became concerned by the size of the windows. They were too small to hold a window air conditioner. We live in the south and air conditioning was vital. I didn’t even want a she-shed if it had no air conditioning. I had heard of portable air conditioners so I decided to do a little research. That’s how I learned about the ductless mini-split air conditioning and heating system. One of those would be perfect for my she-shed! The maintenance is the same as the maintenance of a window air conditioner, simply clean the filter once a month. It was attractive and quiet and it was simple to install. I ordered one online and my husband was able to do the installation himself. All in all, it wasn’t that expensive, and now I can enjoy my she-shed in air conditioned comfort. I’m actually glad that I didn’t get a window air conditioner, if I could have found one to fit the windows. I would much rather have this ductless mini-split any day.
