I must admit that I am a little envious of my folks.
They worked hard all their lives and made a few good investments and the are quite comfortable now.
And I get a little jealous. They buy the best cuts of meat and fresh fruits and vegetables while we survive on a processed food budget. They take exotic vacations twice a year and we are lucky to afford a camping trip once a year. What I am most jealous about though, is their HVAC system. My folks have a state of the art HVAC system and a whole house air purification system with UV lights. Their house is always fresh and comfortable. So, I got a good idea. My parents are looking for someone to come in and clean their house twice a week. Their old housekeeper retired. I offered to come help them until they found a good replacement if they would help me get a whole house air purification system with UV light for my birthday, which happened to be close to Christmas. I knew it was an extra large gift, but I didn’t know just how big it would be. When the HVAC technician came out, we were already starting to have problems with the a/c and the technician told us that we would need a whole new HVAC system soon since ours was already fifteen years old. So, I ended up getting a whole new state of the art HVAC system with a whole house air purification system with UV lights just like my mother. Now there is no reason to be jealous anymore.
