It has been years, and they are content with not owning a furnace
I literally cannot guess that my parents still do not have a furnace. The way that they heat their apartment is drastically unsafe and dangerous, and they have been doing it for nearly 6 years. There have even been a few times when my mother almost burned the apartment down because of the way in which they heat their house. My parents have always dreamed of owning a house, however their credit is terrible, and the only way that they are going to be able to own the apartment is by doing a rent-to-own contract on a apartment in awful condition. Sure, they found a apartment that was within their budget, however the apartment literally had no appliances, including no furnace. Sure, there were other problems, however they live in the North, and having a furnace is a pretty major deal in the North. You could literally die in your apartment without a furnace, and they didn’t have a furnace. They knew that they weren’t going to be able to afford a furnace, so they began buying unusual types of space oil heating systems that run on unusual types of fuels. Already, you absolutely know that space oil heating systems are not nearly as safe as a furnace. However, it is much worse than that. My parents couldn’t afford a new space heater, so they purchased aged and used space oil heating systems for their house. There were numerous times where they almost died because they almost burned their apartment down with these space heaters. It has been years, and they are content with not owning a furnace. I have no method how they do it. I would never want to live without a normal furnace.
