I have to reveal that when I started this little discussion board, I didn’t recognize that this many people would be engaged about a topic as benign as organic tea.
I have written multiple weeks’ worth of articles about the lesser-known organic teas plus a few about the well-known organic teas. I certainly appreciate all of your organic tea feedback plus engagement over the past few months. One topic that I noticed kept coming up in the comments- especially about the well-known organic teas- was about green tea vs black tea plus which tea happens to be better. I will start by saying that both teas are exceptional for a lot of the same goals. The key difference- because they’re both made from the same leaf- is that green tea is not oxidized, plus black tea entirely is. Because of this, black tea has a very strong flavor. Both can work to prevent heart disease, increase brain activity, plus both can help you lose a good amount of weight. Here is the main takeaway, though, green tea has way more antioxidants, but black tea has the caffeine that will allow you to replace coffee (again, the goal of many folks starting out is to decrease caffeine/coffee intake). If lowering caffeine intake is your ultimate goal, then you should start with black tea and eventually make your way to drinking green tea. If you’re using organic tea to lose a bit of weight, black tea would be the more suitable option. Black tea is honestly better for blood vessels as well as weight loss. There are incredible benefits with both- multiple shared. Depending on your future goals, both are terrific options.
