Last year when we went on a family vacation, we ended up having a lot of problems with our air conditioning in our three room suite.
We thought that the hotel that we were staying at was going to be completely wonderful, but it turned out to be anything but that.
We had read a lot of reviews about the hotel, and all of them had said that the place was great all except for the HVAC system. But according to the reviews I read, the hotel was right in the middle of an HVAC renovation. We figured that by the time we ended up staying in this hotel, all of the heating and cooling problems would have been worked out. Well, that was a big mistake and definitely the wrong assumption. When we got to the hotel, the first thing that I noticed was the big HVAC maintenance truck parked in front of the lobby. I immediately thought that it was a bad sign, but my husband said that there were no more vacancies in any of the other nearby hotels. We went inside, and the lobby was just a mess. There were ladders and HVAC technicians and equipment everywhere. The lobby itself was very hot and stuffy and the poor employees looked miserable. We checked into our rooms and sure enough, the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. We spent a terrible three days in that hot hotel, and we weren’t sorry to get out of there at all! I told my husband to make sure that the next hotel we booked had some working air conditioners!
