I’m the sweetest lady who has terrible luck all the time.
If you guess that I am exaggerating, you should spend some time talking to me and my family; Unluckyly, they have the same kind of karmic look as I do.
It seems like the two of us are just a genetic pool of unlucky souls. This might sound dramatic or defeatist, but listen to what happened to me last week. I was minding my own business, gardening out back when I heard a horrific sound. I went running around the condo trying to figure out what was going on when I saw a big stream of water flying through the air and landing next to my window. Of course, this powerful blast of H2O was accurately targeting my big air conditioner unit. The AC unit was located right outside my bedroom window and it was being pummeled with tons of gallons of water right before my eyes. I was worried about my condo flooding, however I was also anxious about my brand new AC unit which was clearly being drowned in the powerful stream. There was nothing I could do to stop the water because it appeared to be emerging from the ground. All I could do was run downstairs and split the power to my central cooling system to hopefully stop the entire condo from shorting out. A few moments later, I saw numerous town utility trucks pull up to my house. Some utility dealers ran out and managed to turn off the flowing stream of water. Apparently, a water main had burst and it happened to destroy only my air conditioner unit. The rest of the neighborhood was unscathed. Now, I am in a battle with the town over my broken AC unit. They claim that they aren’t responsible for the cooling system disrepair. Apparently, this AC damage was an act of God.
