I work with this one guy who really is a strange person.
We work for an accounting firm in the city. And you would think that everyone would be talking about accounting related things in the workplace. But not this one guy I work with. This guy is always talking about heating and air conditioning related subjects! If I didn’t know any better, I would think this guy was some college kid going to school to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist! It doesn’t matter what is being discussed, somehow he always brings it around to something related to heating and air conditioning. We could be talking about the computer systems we have in the office, and he will turn it around somehow to smart thermostats and how they are run on similar computers. He will also always give everyone a daily report of what he thinks about the indoor air quality and the heat or a/c air flow that day. Now me as much as the next person enjoys and needs good indoor comfort to work properly, but this guy just goes way above that. I don’t really care what he thinks of the heating and air conditioning system’s air flow that day! Nor do I care about how the computer systems we use being similar to how a smart thermostat is operated! Several of us around here are getting quite annoyed with this guy. But, it is not like we can complain to upper management, because he does his job and does it well.He just needs to keep his HVAC obsession to himself!
