When I was travelling with my other half, we had to stop at a few hotels on our travels. At every hotel that we decided to go to, I insisted that they show me that the HVAC unit was working good before we paid for our room. This legitimately went well for most of these hotels, and I was ecstatic to have insisted because there was a place that had a broken down a/c in the one room that was available. Because that hotel didn’t have any other vacant rooms, my other half and I ended up driving further down the road to find a hotel that legitimately did have a working air conditioner. I would settle for no less because I was sleepy from all that driving and I truly needed to get some rest for the long drive ahead of us. There was this motel that we decided to go to and their air conditioner wasn’t that good. I was legitimately disappointed, but the owners said there wasn’t another motel for at least another forty minutes of driving. Because I was so sleepy, we ended up taking the room. The room wasn’t stifling, but it could have been more comfortable. The fan helped a lot and I’m ecstatic that it cooled off some while in the night so that made it easier to rest that night. I legitimately must say that it can be difficult finding a fantastic place to stay on the road occasionally.
