The temperatures really started heating up around here last week.
I had not been watching the news and so I was totally unaware that the hotter weather was coming.
But of course as soon as the weather got really warm outside, my air conditioning broke down and stopped working. That seems to always be the case with me. I have to say that I have some terrible luck when it comes to appliances and utilities in my house. Ever since I bought my home six years ago, it’s been the same thing. I would think that it was just my house if I hadn’t had the same trouble in the apartment I lived in prior to this! Nope, it seems like no matter where I go, something always goes wrong with the central air conditioning system. I remember a few years ago when a racoon actually had babies inside my outdoor A/C unit. Who else does that happen to? Anyway, now there’s something else wrong with my air conditioning. At least it’s not a racoon this time, as far as I can tell anyway. I’m not an HVAC expert by any stretch of the imagination, but my A/C unit in the basement has a terrible burning electrical smell coming from it. I’m pretty sure that a cord or a fuse of some sort has burned out and so I’m just going to call my favorite HVAC company in the morning so that they can come out and do some A/C repairs. I hope it’s not a fried racoon that they find in there.
