Some deceptively small looking appliances can in fact be extreme powerhouses for whatever purpose they happened to be designed for.
My favorite example of this will constantly be the amazing small refrigerator that followed me through my numerous years of college.
It was literally a miniature version of a respected fridge and freezer combination. Imagine taking one and just shrinking it down to 40% of its original size. I had a freezer for ice cream and frozen chicken, and a fridge for drinks, eggs, condiments, and any left over food. It kept laboring great until I moved to go to graduate and could no longer bring it with me. I gave it to a close buddy who claims that it still works as good as the day I gave it to him. Nowadays, my go to example for nice quality appliances in small packages is my window A/C device in my apartment. It is shockingly small when you first look at it. Most of my buddies have the hardest time believing that it is as powerful as I say it is. All of that skepticism vanishes once I turn it on and let it work for a short period of time. It will drop the temperature in my apartment faster than most central A/C devices will in a small household. I can’t imagine using any other A/C device after owning this incredible powerhouse. It does everything I need it to and more. I don’t even believe that I would be as satisfied with an extremely energy efficient split Heating and Air Conditioning device. I’ll take my small window A/C device any afternoon of the week. If only this company made larger A/C devices, but they don’t.
