My family recently dragged me out to stay at my aunt’s home for the weekend, my Dad wanted to visit her sibling and I didn’t mind at first.
At some point during the trip I asked my Dad where are we? The two of us appeared to be in the middle of nowhere.
The two of us drove on a long twisted dirt road through the forest and at 1 point the two of us drove down a road with nothing but dirt and sand as far as the eye could see. When the two of us arrived at my aunt’s home I couldn’t know it, It was nothing but a creepy shack in the middle of the woods! The first thing I did when I got inside, apart from reluctantly greeting my aunt, was to find the temperature control and put the air on. It was so humid inside and the air quality was awful too. The two of us were so far out in the country that I’m pretty sure the air was nothing but germs and dirt. As I went around looking for the temperature control so I could adjust the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan to my liking. My uncle told me there was none. She didn’t want a heating and cooling plan because they are too high-priced. She kept herself hot with a wood burning stove and cool with some battery operated fans and open windows. I couldn’t wait to go home. I didn’t even care about touching things. Already I cried over my broken nail and my nail polish was chipping off. I just wanted things the way they were before. With me sitting in my bed, breathing in clean air and enjoying the coolness of the air being emitted from the a/c vent. The a/c in my home was amazing and here it was nonexistent. I sweated the whole night before exhaustion claimed me.
