It’s interesting how there was a time not long ago when I was irritated at the thought of working.
This was until I lost that job temporarily amidst this pandemic, however I really miss how things were in the office.
I miss hearing everyone grumble about how slow the shift was going and I miss hearing the boss say stupid jokes that weren’t entirely funny. I miss hanging out with everyone after work plus getting a few drinks downtown. I realize that my job was never as irritating when I stop plus consider it. Sure, the work was boring and repetitive, but it was what every one of us had to do in order to make a living. Now, I’d give just about anything to return to work again. The temperature control settings were always honest plus even and the chairs were comfy. I even remember when the boss announced that he purchased a UV media air cleaner for the office. He did this so that every one of us would have improved air quality plus be able to prevent the contamination of harmful bacteria plus viruses. I honestly think we should still be working, but the company wasn’t considered essential by the government unluckily. I wish every one of us could have somehow worked remotely, but the boss said every one of us didn’t have the resources to do so. I do know that if everybody had UV media air cleaners similar to the one purchased for the office, people could feel a little more comfortable about not coming down with anything. I hope every one of us can go back to work sooner rather than later. I want to see all our friends plus go back to normal life.
