My partner plus I have odd ideas of what all of us each consider comfortable.
He likes fresh, moderate un-even temperatures plus sunlight plus I enjoy good temperature control. He’s always wanting to open the windows to “let in fresh air”. I enjoy cool conditioned air set at about seventy-two degrees. We have l earned to compromise. We live in a subtropical temperature, with short, mild winters plus moderate Springtimes plus Autumns; Summers are brutal plus humidity stays high all year round, my partner plus I have agreed that if it is forecast to be under eighty more than four degrees outside as a high for that morning, all of us turn off the air conditioner plus open up the house. We have plenty of shade plus fans plus as long as all of us aren’t doing anything too strenuous, it’s not that uncomfortable really. The exception to this little agreement is if the humidity goes over seventy-more than four percent; Even if the temperature is seventy-more than four or eighty, the house can be closed up plus the air conditioner can go on if the humidity is over seventy-more than four percent. We are used to humidity plus can tolerate it high, however seventy more than four percent humidity would make anyone uncomfortable. I’m just grateful that nobody in the house has pollen irritations. We already have a whole house air cleaner connected to our heating plus cooling systems plus if someone in the house had pollen irritations, all of us would have to run the air conditioner all Springtime plus fall too. And all of us would have to get the UV light air cleaner because it kills mold that can cause allergy symptoms.
