It’s important to have your heater serviced before winter

Fall is definitely my favorite season.

The weather is wonderful and the changing leaves make it so beautiful out. All of the reds, oranges, purples, and yellows in the trees really warms the soul. Where I’m from, summer is miserably hot and winter is unbearably cold. Fall is the brief season of relief with typically nice weather and incredible scenery. Though, I remember not too long ago there was an early fall day that got into really low temperatures. It was disappointing compared to the usual mid-sixties weather. When my mother went to turn on the heater, we quickly realized it was not working correctly. The house was cold and the vents were not putting out any heat. Our HVAC system was no longer heating our house like it should. We realized we needed to call our HVAC provider to get our heater serviced before the real cold came in winter. We suffered a bit in the cold that night until the HVAC technician could make it to our home the next day. Thank goodness, that day the weather returned to the comfortable temperatures and we were not suffering while we waited for the HVAC technician to arrive. Luckily, we caught the issue before winter came and the temperatures stayed low. Even a few more hours in the morning with temperatures as low as they were would have made the situation much worse. It is definitely important to get your heater serviced in the fall, even though the comfortable temperatures might tempt you to put it off until later.
