I really should have looked harder for a better place to live, but I now live in this old house building with a real strict property owner, and the property owner is constantly going around collecting all the rent plus he will not tolerate any excuses for the rent being late even by a single afternoon.
Every one of us call the guy the King of Keys in the building, because he is constantly walking around with a set of keys for all the doors in the building! If you don’t open the door to pay him the rent, he will just open the door plus make his way in to collect the rent from you; He has even gone into people’s apartments to collect rent when they weren’t even home! I think these people should be able to sue him for violating their privacy or cutting into their living space.
It’s not right for a property owner to do that category of thing. I really complained that if he didn’t service the heating program in my place, after that I was going to call up the HVAC supplier plus take the repair bill out of the rent. He said he didn’t agree to anything care about that plus I couldn’t do it. He said I could go ahead plus have the heating program fixed on my own if I wanted, but that was my prerogative plus that would come out of my own money. I truthfully can’t know this guy, he is genuinely unacceptable. I think I’m going to call a lawyer to see if I can sue him for not getting the HVAC repairs done, then as tenants, the people I was with and I should have the right to suitable living conditions, plus the HVAC program is undoubtedly a part of that.
