I’ve decided that this fall, I’m going to go back to school to get my Heating & A/C certification.
Heating, cooling, & ventilation systems have regularly been interesting to me.
I switched courses when I went to technical school about ten years ago & decided to go the plumbing route instead of the Heating & A/C route! Now, after ten years of working with plumbing, I think I might have made a mistake by getting out of the Heating & A/C training courses. I am pretty sure that I want to switch careers & stop being a plumber. I don’t honestly suppose why, but I’m just over it all of a sudden. I don’t even want to go to work most mornings & sometimes the work just grosses myself and others out. I suppose that if I go back to school this fall to get my Heating & A/C certification, I won’t regret it. I won’t have to work in anyone’s gross powder room or under their family room sinks anymore. I suppose that working on a gas furnace or a central a/c machine would actually be preferable to working on a slimy shower or dirty toilet. I mean, I don’t suppose why I waited this long to decide to make a career change, however especially since I used to be interested in the Heating & A/C industry anyway. I suppose that I’m going to care about reading about gas furnaces, air conditioners, radiant heated flooring, fireplaces, & whole modern home air purification systems. I just wish that I could make this fall come sooner because I honestly don’t want to go to my plumbing appointments any more!
