Once again, the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C bill has its summer time bloat going on.
That bloat is sucking our wallet dry.
Writing the utility check in the summer time is akin to paying for a particularly extravagant vacation. The rising utility costs are just astounding. I remember rolling our eyeah at our dad when he would yell at us about leaving a door ajar while the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C was running. Now, I sure understand where he was coming from. I do the particularly same thing to our kids. This year I decided I wasn’t simply going to lay around & watch the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C eat up such a chunk of our household budget. Instead, I did a quick bit of research & got proactive about saving some currency. The Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C device is only a few years outdated but, I could have gone a little higher on the SEER number. However, with a few swings, I was still able to make the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C device far more efficient. First, I attacked the direct daylight heating. Where both of us live, the summer time is brutal hot & the daylight is a constant. I prefer the daylight & where I live but, I had to do more about how direct sunlight was robbing me. The people I was with and I put up special solar drapes to chop out nearly all the heating due to direct daylight exposure. Then, both of us made sure that both of us were keeping as much of the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C treated air in the beach house as possible. This didn’t take too much. In fact, I was able to seal all the cracks & gaps around our condo in a weekend. But, the largest change was one that I knew would be the most difficult. I decided that our beach house temperature needed to go up as the outside temps rose.
