I am an HVAC professional.
If you don’t guess what being an HVAC professional means, then don’t worry.
I obviously didn’t guess what I was signing up for until it was too late. When I pictured an HVAC professional, I pictured a guy in a clean uniform helping people by fixing simple problems on their HVAC units. I figured that I would get paid well, have a proper schedule, and be able to tinker around with things all of the time. Well, as an HVAC professional, some of those things were true. I graduated from high university and instantly enrolled in the HVAC program at our local university. I l gained a lot about concernshooting and repairing HVAC units, and I also l gained the rules and codes for installing HVAC units in current houses. When I finally became a certified HVAC professional, I was hired by one of the HVAC companies in the neighborhood where I grew up. I was confident that I knew exactly what I was getting into, but I was wrong. I had no method how hard it would be to be an HVAC professional. As an HVAC professional, our favorite thing to do is to travel around fixing people’s HVAC units. However, I never realized how complicated some repairs would be. I have seen things that I would have never imagined. I also install a lot of HVAC units, which is a lot harder than I would have thought. I labor all of the time and get much dirtier since I have to crawl under and over houses. It is hard. I get paid well, though!
