I will see how well I do when I get there

I have never been a huge fan of school, but I do realize it’s necessary to learn a lot of important things and to eventually get a good career. This is why my parents are always stressing that all of us kids go to a good college. It really just depresses me thinking about going to school for longer than I have to. They say it’s for a great career, but I don’t really know what I want to do. I have been thinking about attending a trade school though. Some friends of mine have been talking about getting their HVAC certifications so they don’t have to go to school for so long and they can start their careers as HVAC technicians. I think it sounds great to have less schooling and more focus on your actual career. Why would I want to go to some 4 year college just to focus more on writing papers and doing advanced math when I could be focusing on an actual career? I just want to get out there and start making the big bucks instead of going through all this boring schooling. Who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind when I finally graduate from high school, but at the moment I love the sound of a good trade school. I actually feel that I am pretty good on working on things too, so I feel that I would make a pretty good HVAC worker. At least I feel it’s worth a shot and I will see how well I do when I get there.
