It's not the best but its home

After an amazing three week vacation on an island surrounded by amazing people and the ocean I have finally made it back home.

I have spent my whole life living up in the north in the mountains where the temperature tends to stay around thirty degrees ninety percent of the year, so coming home after being in such a tropical climate was an interesting transition to say the least. A transition that I didn’t know I would enjoy so much! During those relaxing three weeks I had gotten so used to the warm weather climate and having access to an air conditioning unit that coming home to a place with none of that had me longing to make my way back to the beach where I don’t have to worry about putting on a coat or shoveling snow out of the driveway. In fact it got so bad that on my second or third day home I was online for hours looking at affordable houses near the beach that came with air conditioning and a pretty view. Luckily for me however, this feeling that I had only lasted for a few days until I started adjusting back to my normal way of life. Sure it’s great to be living by the ocean and all that, but there is just something special about being up north in a warm and comfortable home with radiant flooring while it is snowing outside. A feeling such as that is something that not everyone gets to experience, and I am still thankful to be living where I am.
