Many months ago when my husband asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday I told him that I wanted to go on a cruise.
I never thought in a million years that two months later when my birthday rolled around my husband would surprise me with two tickets for a cruise! As I mentioned I had dreamed about going on a cruise since I was a kid, and overall it ended up being just as good as I had pictured it would be.
This might come as a shock to some people who have never experienced being on a cruise before, but the room we had was perfect. Along with the large and modern style room the food was as good as any of the restaurants in my city that I have been to, perhaps even slightly better when factoring in the endless desserts that were offered. The thing that ended up surprising me the most was how they had an on duty HVAC repair tech on the cruise. Whenever there was a problem with the cooling like there was in the dining room one evening, the HVAC repair tech was able to save the day by jumping in and getting the industrial grade air conditioning unit up and running again. I think it’s safe to say that without him the dinner would have been ruined without him. For how affordable my wife told me the tickets were I wasn’t expecting all that much from this crusie, but if they are always this high of quality we will be doing this for many more birthdays down the line!
