If you want to learn a lot about something, one of the best ways to do that is by watching somebody who knows what they are doing do that very thing.

I have always had an interested in trade jobs. I work on computers, but while I was in high school, I secretly wanted to be an HVAC technician. I loved the hands-on work of fixing and installing HVAC units, and I also knew that they pay HVAC technicians well. I also thought that it would be cool to fix and maintain my own furnace and air conditioner in the future. While I am no longer wanting to be an HVAC technician, I am still interested in saving money on my HVAC units. HVAC technicians charge a lot of money for their work, and I would save a fortune if I just decided to fix my own furnace and air conditioner. When my HVAC units break down, the first thing that I do is call the HVAC technician. When he comes over, I tell him all of the symptoms that I discovered with my HVAC units, and I also ask him what he noticed when he checked them. As he is taking things apart and making observations about my HVAC units, I am constantly asking questions, trying to discover how he knows what is working and what isn’t working with my HVAC unit. I have already learned a lot so far, and I can’t wait to learn more!
