Our kitchen tends to get pretty hot when we are doing a lot of cooking. Especially during family holiday gatherings. No matter what we do with fans or even the central air conditioning system it still is super hot in there. After a few years of trying different things we finally found a way to combat this ridiculous kitchen heat. That was to get a ductless multi split air conditioning system. Ductless multi split air conditioning systems (also known as a ductless mini split air conditioning system) are really simple to instal all by yourself. We got the ductless multi split air conditioning system then we mounted it to the wall in the left hand corner of the kitchen. Ever since we got the ductless multi split air conditioning system the kitchen heat issue is no more! We can cook all we want and if it gets really hot we just turn the ductless multi split air conditioning system on with the thermostat that is on it set at 75 degrees. That is the perfect temperature for the ductless multi split air conditioning system and the kitchen. Even during the holiday dinners at Christmas time when it’s really cold out the ductless multi split still gets turned on for at least a half an hour. But that time of the year we actually set the thermostat at 78 degrees. That way the air conditioning does not seep out into the rest of the house and freeze everyone out. Running the air conditioning in the Winter does sound odd I know. But if you were in the kitchen here, you would for sure get it!
