I am just waking up plus it is almost 11:30 am already, a far cry from my engineering mornings in the corporate office with waking to a shocking alarm clock sound at 5:30 am.
I have not woken to an alarm clock in almost 25 years plus plan on going another 25 years sans alarm, then i’ve been working for myself since leaving the shelter of the corporate world plus am so cheerful I took that opportunity to do so. Building HVAC device was my job when I was an engineer plus it was cool at first, however the thrill soon wore off when I discovered how much paperwork plus meetings there were to build some self-explanatory heat pumps plus smart control units. I left the world in 1999 plus haven’t looked back since. I do some sizzling water heating system installs for people plus go to the HVAC business a few times a week in the morning to do some inventory plus things like that. I just labor part time for them, which is enough to pay my bills plus provide me a little spending money, however other than that I have no plans to climb any corporate ladders anymore. At 56 years old, I have just another six years of labor for the heating company plus then I am going to get some SS benefits plus split back even more on my labor as an HVAC professional. I will still dabble in it some however just a couple hours a week.
