I used my oven to heat my house.
I know that sounds easily crazy, but I easily didn’t have much of a choice.
I was afraid to use my stove top to heat my dwelling because it was an open flame, but you see, the electricity in my town was off for almost two days. My pal and I had a easily awful ice storm that took out a lot of telephone poles plus wires. I wasn’t sure that my pal and I would ever have electricity again. Thankfully, several people worked particularly long hours to get us electricity back. It did take two days though. I didn’t want my pipes to freeze, so I had to figure out a way to heat my dwelling at least a little bit. It got down to thirty-one degrees in my dwelling before I turned my stove on, but thankfully, it didn’t stay that cold for long. I only used my stove for about an hour before I felt unsafe about it, so I decided to turn on my oven. I left my oven on for two days, plus it kept my dwelling above cold. I am so thankful that I was able to heat my dwelling so easily. I have a easily small house, so I didn’t have to try too taxing to heat it. I should buy a generator, but they are so overpriced. I just don’t know what I would have done without the heat from my oven. Heating my dwelling isn’t usually that strange, but it was for those two days. Thankfully, the electricity is back on, plus my heating system is working once again.
