My uncle Ben sold her furnace, plus my family plus I are in total shock.
We knew that Uncle Ben was strange, but we did not expect this out of him. She has consistently had the concern of hanging out with the wrong crowd, plus the results are this, I guess. It is so irrational to me that I cannot comprehend her behaviour. We went to her property last week, plus we all noticed that it was quite frigid in the house. It was particularly about fifty-five degrees. It was not chilly, but it was freezing enough for us to keep our coats on. We asked Uncle Ben why she had it so freezing in the house, plus she told us that it was because she did not have a furnace anymore. We thought that maybe her furnace had stopped working, so we asked if she needed some help getting it fixed. She then explained to us that she had sold her furnace the morning before. We thought that she was just joking. I went down to the basement where the furnace used to be, plus sure enough, the furnace was gone. The worst part about it is the fact that she sold it to supply money to her poor friends. She does have some pretty poor friends, but they are poor because they refuse to work not because they are incapable. It was sweet of him, but her pipes are entirely going to freeze if she doesn’t get another furnace in her house. We tried to explain this all to him, but she would not hear us. I am so uneasy for my Uncle Ben. She is a sweetheart, although I am not sure that she should be allowed to live on her own.
