It has been difficult living without air conditioning for the past few weeks.
My husband wanted to fix our air conditioner himself, but he has not had time.
He has had to work overtime the last few days, and it has been hard on him. He had good intentions, but we have been without an air conditioner for a few weeks now, and it is getting really tough. It is not like we live in a relatively cool climate. It is over a hundred degrees outside every single day during this time of year, and it is miserable in our house. I am not sure that anyone in the house has gotten a good night’s sleep since the air conditioning stopped working. We all jump in the pool before we got to get each night to try and cool ourselves off for bed. It lasts for about thirty minutes. After that, we are all sweating again. It is not fun to say the least. We called an HVAC company yesterday, and they are supposed to send someone over tomorrow to take a look at our air conditioner. I really hope that they can fix it quickly. I don’t know if we will be able to last much longer without air conditioning. Our house was just not made to be able to go without air conditioning during the hot summer months. I understand that people all over the world live in warm climates and do so without air conditioning, but I think that they probably make their houses in a way that helps keep them cooler. I am not positive, but they must do something different. The thermostat said that our house was one hundred and one degrees yesterday.
