With the housing market as crazy as it is, my hubby & I have been thinking about selling our house, but my friend and I never planned to live here long, & we’ve done quite a few renovations that we thought would increase the value; After speaking to a real estate agent, we were happy to learn the modern value of our home, but the renovations paired with the crazy market made the value of our home increase tremendously.
The real estate agent knew we were excited, but he still offered us some things that we could replace that would increase the value even more! One of the top things on that list was a modern Heating & Air Conditioning system… While our home was good on the inside, we never changed the Heating & Air Conditioning system.
The a/c & furnace were over a decade old, but they did their tasks, then since we never intend to stay long, my hubby & I never saw the point in replacing the Heating & Air Conditioning system. According to our real estate agent though, even with the market as demanding as it was, an Heating & Air Conditioning system as old as ours was a large concern, then new Heating & Air Conditioning systems were multiple thousand dollars though, so we hesitated to replace it. That was a lot of currency to spend on an Heating & Air Conditioning system that we’d never get to fully enjoy. My friend and I went back & forth on installing one, but we ultimately decided to let the next person who bought our home to replace the Heating & Air Conditioning system. My friend and I were already going to make currency & the next homeowner could option the Heating & Air Conditioning system they wanted.
