The current thermostat is called a smart thermostat. This thermostat can do several things that the aged thermostats are unable to do. The first thing is that I am able to control it right from my smart PC… My smartphone has to run on data or be connected to wireless internet to work. I can change the temperature of my dwelling all the way from the other side of the world if I honestly need to. When I leave for toil I can turn the temperature down so that I am not using a lot of energy and then before I leave toil I can turn it up again; By the time I get home, the temperature of my dwelling is already ideal for me to be in, however another good feature of this smart thermostat is that it learns your temperature patterns. If I consistently change the temperature to the same thing when I leave the dwelling everyday, it will start to do that automatically. This way I never have to do it. It can do the same thing for before I leave work. This has benefitted me so much that I have been saving money on my bi-weekly bills every month! I used to have the dwelling consistently running at the same temperature with my central heating and cooling. With this current thermostat I have a lot more freedom.
