The school I work for underwent a lot of renovations recently! All the carpet was ripped out as well as updated, the walls were repainted, as well as a lot of the classrooms were shifted around… I was once in a small classroom with no window, however after the renovations, I was moved to a larger classroom with windows that let in ample sunlight, the sunlight, new carpet, as well as the freshly painted walls have been excellent, however the best feature about my new classroom is the temperature control, and my old classroom didn’t have a temperature control, so I could never control the temperature.

The walls were brick as well as it felt like I was underground all the time, even when I wasn’t. The new windows in my classroom have been good because the sun adds a lot of natural warmth to the space. With that but, I find myself getting overheated. Thankfully, I have control over the temperature with my undoubtedly own temperature control. The temperature control is mounted right behind my desk, so there’s no risk of any student changing it. The school does have some restrictions about what I can set the temperature as, however I’m blissful to stay within those regulations! Now, I’m never too overheated or too cold as well as I’m much more comfortable doing my job. I pity the instructor who had to move into my old room with no windows as well as no control over the temperature. If she sticks it out long enough, maybe she can update after a few years.
